FEBRUARY'S THEME IS "LITERARY LOVE"
The Ancient City Poets will host a community open mic reading on Sunday February 28th from 3:00 to 4:30 at City Coffee Company (1280 N. Ponce de Leon Blvd, near The Village Inn). Saint Augustine Speaks is an open mic series that offers poets of all skill levels an opportunity to share their poems with a loving and supportive audience. The microphone will be turned on at 3:00 pm and all are encouraged to share poems that speak to the theme: "Literary Love". Attendees should share their poems on the subject of Love or share works that they love from their favorite writers. The gatherings are held "renga style" with no emcee or sign-up sheet and ends when everyone has has an opportunity to share.
